While one of the switches below is in normal operation and running software R2422 or R2423, a 10GbE SFP+ port cannot come up after its optical transceiver module is removed from and reinserted in the port. This is due to the switch failing to enable the transmit signal on the transceiver module after it is reinserted. The problem occurs when using either 1G SFP or 10G SFP+ transceiver modules.The problem does not occur when Direct Attach Copper (DAC) cables are used.

Perform one of the following steps to fix the issue.After the transceiver module is reinserted, execute "shutdown" and "undo shutdown" commands on the port.For a switch running version R2422, upgrade to R2422P01 or later.For a switch running version R2423, install hot patch R2423H01 to upgrade.
