FAQ

How often is the Bug Risk Score updated?

BugZero monitors bugs in near real-time with risk scores automatically recalculated every 15 minutes.

Is the Bug Risk Score customization included in the ODD?

Bug risk scores are applied to every bug in the Operational Defect Database. However, the ability to customize Bug Risk Score, is not available in the ODD. For that reach out to our team to get a demo of the BugZero Enterprise platform.

What sources are used to calculate the bug risk score?

Vendor reported data includes severity, workaround and solution data. We ingest community data that includes comments and reactions to threads related to the bug in question. We also ingest support data such as the number of support cases and the support case trends.

Is every vendor's risk score calculated the same way?

BugZero's Bug Risk Score is calculated the same way, but some vendors have fewer data sources then others. BugZero's algorithm accounts for these discrepancies by suggesting proportional weights to other sources.

How is data ingested to populate the risk score?

BugZero has built custom integrations with different sources for each vendor in order to factor in the best possible data that could inform severity and urgency.
