After a Frame Link Module replacement, hot-swap operation, or full frame restart; a Server Profile on an HPE Synergy 480 Gen12 Compute Module may display the following alert:"Server profile settings conflict with the server hardware configuration"This issue has been observed with Server Profiles configured for Fibre Channel boot and Fibre Channel data.The issue is intermittent, and no data loss has been observed.Note:This issue can be observed in HPE OneView versions 11.40 and 11.50.
Any HPE Synergy 480 Gen12 Compute Module with Server Profiles configured for Fibre Channel boot and Fibre Channel data that undergo a connection module replacement, hot-swap operation, or full frame restart.
To resolve the alert, reapply the affected Server Profile with Adapter Configuration and Boot Settings unchecked.Notes:This procedure does not require the server to be powered off. Refreshing the server hardware and Server Profile alone may not clear the alert.If the alert remains after reapplying the Server Profile, collect an OneView support dump and contact HPE support.Contact your localcountry HPE Customer Supportor log a case via theHPE Support Center.A permanent software resolution is being validated for a future release.This advisory will be updated when additional solutions become available.
