On an HP ProLiant server with HP Integrated Lights-Out 4 (iLO 4), the iLO IP address becomes 0.0.0.0 if the Remote Insight Board Command Language (RIBCL) is used to set up the shared network port and to modify the settings for the network. The firmware does not expect the SHARED_NETWORK_PORT tag value to be an empty string. For example, when using RIBCL to run the script, Shared_Network_Port.xml with "Y," "LOM,"and "FlexibleLOM" selected and then Mod_Network_Settings.xml, which does not have the SHARED_NETWORK_PORT tag in the file, is run to set up the network, the iLO IP address could become 0.0.0.0.
Any HP ProLiant server with shared network port capability and HP Integrated Lights-Out 4 (iLO 4) Firmware Version 1.00 through 1.20.
