On a ProLiant server with HP Integrated Lights-Out 3 (iLO 3) Firmware Version 1.55 (or earlier) or HP Integrated Lights-Out 4 (iLO 4) Firmware Version 1.20 (or earlier), attempts to use the Integrated Remote Console (IRC) SysRq and Print Scrn keys (or any hot key combinations including SysRq, Ex. ALT+SysRq+M ) may not be successful.For example, in Linux, an attempt to set the hot key CTRL+T to ALT+SysRq+M will fail.The ALT+SysRq+M combo key is used to dump the memory information from the Redhat kernel to system log(/var/log/messages) as follows:Define the hot key CTRL+T = " ALT+SysRq+M" in iLOOpen a console on Red Hat Enterprise Linux and run below two commands:#echo 1 > /proc/sys/kernel/sysrqand#tail �f /var/log/messagesPress the hot key CTRL+T, and memory information should be dumped to the RHEL console, but instead, the error "keyboard.c: can't emulate rawmode for keycode 240" is displayed.
