On an HP Moonshot 1500 chassis, the NODE BOOT settings (for a boot to either PXE or the HDD) may not be retained if the chassis is power-cycled or HP Moonshot iLO Chassis Manager (CM) is reset. Nodes that were set to boot to the hard disk will instead attempt to boot to PXE after a power-cycle of the chassis or when running the "RESET CM" command on one of the iLOs.
Any HP Moonshot 1500 Chassis running iLO Chassis Manager (CM) Version 1.00 or 1.01.
HP iLO Chassis Manager Firmware Version 1.02 corrects this issue and is available as part of the Moonshot Component Pack Version 2013.08.1, at the following URL:www.hp.com/go/moonshot/downloadAfter updating the iLO CM firmware, reapply any NODE BOOT settings that are not correct.RECEIVE PROACTIVE UPDATES: Receive support alerts (such as Customer Advisories), as well as updates on drivers, software, firmware, and customer replaceable components, proactively via e-mail through HP Subscriber's Choice.
