While executing a system recovery of an HP LeftHand SAN/iQ Dell PowerEdge 2950 Platform or HP LeftHand NSM 2060 Platform, the user can select RAID5 (R5) or RAID10 (R10) to configure data LUNs. When R10 is selected, the data LUN will remain unconfigured. As a result, the user will find an unconfigured RAID in the Centralized Management Console (CMC).NOTE: RAID5 (R5) is not the default configuration when running a system recovery.
The user will see an unconfigured RAID through the CMC after running a system recovery on an HP LeftHand SAN/iQ Dell PowerEdge 2950 Platform or HP LeftHand NSM 2060 Platform with SAN/iQ 9.0 software and selecting R10 as the data LUN configuration. This issue affects HP StorageWorks P4000 SAN/iQ software version 9.0.
Once the system recovery of an HP LeftHand SAN/iQ Dell PowerEdge 2950 Platform or HP LeftHand NSM 2060 Platform with HP StorageWorks P4000 SAN/iQ 9.0 software has completed, use the CMC to configure the RAID settings.
