The HP UPS T1000 G2, T1500 G2, or R/T 2200 G2 Uninterruptible Power System output may become unstable when configured to the 100-volt range if connected to a ProLiant server in a redundant power supply configuration.This may cause the server to reboot when the main utility voltage goes offline and the UPS enters the ON BATTERY mode. In rare cases, a reset may occur when the server is configured with a single power supply.This occurs when the UPS has been set to the 100-volt configuration via the DIP switches located on the rear of the UPS. In this instance, the UPS will be operating on the fringe of the normal server voltage range of 100 to 127 volts AC (VAC).Note:This issue has only been reported in Japan; where 100 volts is the standard utility voltage.
Any HP UPS T1000 G2, T1500 G2, or R/T 2200 G2 Uninterruptible Power System set to a 100- volt configuration and connected to a server in a redundant power supply configuration.
