The audience for this documentThis advisory is intended for all existing users of HPE GreenLake and Data Services Cloud Console (DSCC) who currently utilize the HPE GreenLake Platform (common.cloud.hpe.com) for all account and device management services.DESCRIPTIONHPE has made enhancements to platform availability and resiliency capabilities, including multi-region Disaster Recovery (DR) capability. This capability will help improve platform resiliency and enable robust Mean Time to Recovery (MTTR) and Service Level Objective (SLO) in the event of any outages or critical failures. Please note that if static IP Addresses are currently configured in firewall rules and the new DR IP addresses are not allowed/permitted prior to a DR failover event:Device activation would fail upon initial setupAdmin users will lose the ability to manage their devices via the HPE GreenLake PlatformAdministrators are advised to review the scenarios described below and take the appropriate actions accordingly:Scenario 1If you have static IP Addresses configured in your firewall rules for device provisioningAction Required: YesCustomers need to allow/permit the IP addresses listed in theResolutionsection below in their firewall rules for seamless device connectivity prior to thePlanned Maintenance Window.Warning: Do not delete the previously configured IP address entries to ensure continued device connectivity.NOTE:In general, HPE recommends that you use the FQDN (Fully Qualified Domain Name) of the destination whenever possible.
