An HPE ProLiant DL 300-Series AMD server may encounter an NVIDIA GPU lane drop or a "device missing" symptom during system startup or during a system reset. This occurs with server running AMD Turin CPUs with an NS204i-u controller and an NVIDIA GPU.When this occurs, the GPU performance will be exceptionally low, and the GPU will not be visible to the system, which can not detect it.
Any HPE ProLiant 300-series AMD Gen11 platforms (ProLiant DL325 Gen11, ProLiant DL345 Gen11, ProLiant DL365 Gen11 and ProLiant DL385 Gen11) with an NS204i-u controller and an NVIDIA L-series or H-series GPU system.Affected GPUs:NVIDIA L4, L40, and other H-series GPUs.Note: NVIDIA A16 and A100 GPUs are NOT impacted.
