The operating system controls PCI space after the system boots. If the HPE ProLiant Compute XD685 or HPE ProLiant XD675D ACS is set to "on" in the UEFI System Utilities (RBSU), it will be overwritten by the operating system.If ACS is disabled in UEFI System Utilities (RBSU), it will still display in the operating system as enabled.Figure 1:Set ACS in OS RBSUFigure 2: ACS from the command line
Any HPE ProLiant Compute XD685 or HPE ProLiant XL675D Gen10 Plus server running Ubuntu 22.04, Ubuntu 24.04, or Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9.4.This may also be observed on other HPE systems.
