Once the drives on an HPE Smart Array Gen11 or Gen10 Plus Controller have failed, the logical drive and controller alert in OneView remains in critical (red) status, until the logical drive is re-enabled via one of the Smart Array configuration tools.Failed Physical Drive ImageHowever, OneView will not clear the Critical Drive alert even after the failed drive is inserted and the Logical volume is re-enabled via one of the Smart Array configuration tools.Reenable Volume Image

This issue is resolved inHPE Synergy Service Pack - SY-2024.11.01(or later).As a workaround, follow the steps below to manually clear the alert in OneView.Log intoHPE OneViewwith Administrator Privileges.Go to the OneView Main Menu and selectOption Activity.Click on theFiltericon at the top-right-side of the screen. Filter for “Active” Alerts.
