If a host port fails on the Alletra Storage 9000 system, the host port fails over to the partner port when port persistence is enabled. This failover happens with minimal disruption to the host IO.The failback may see the host IO pause and cause a delay for up to 30 seconds.The problem is seen with Emulex HBAs and Qlogic HBAs installed in the host.
This has been seen with Microsoft Windows Server 2019 and 2022 but other versions may also be affected.
This issue has been addressed with Alletra 9000 version 9.5.28.
