On any HPE Gen10 platforms using vSphere AutoDeploy to load VMware ESXi 7.0 U2 / 7.0 U3; HPE Integrated Lights-Out 5 (iLO 5) may fail to detect the Agentless Management Service, and the following error message may be displayed in the following navigation path "iLO5 -> Firmware & OS software-> Software Tab":"iLO did not detect the Agentless Management Service when this page was loaded. To view a full set of data on this page, ensure that AMS is installed and running. The software inventory data is displayed only when AMS is ready on the server."When this issue occurs, VMware files are missing and the following paths are empty:/var/db/esximg/bulletins//var/db/esximg/baseimages//var/db/esximg/addons/When performing esxcli commands, the following errors may be displayed:[root@esxi:~]esxcli software baseimage get[Exception]Host does not have a Base Image installed.Please refer to the log file for more details.[root@esxi:~]esxcli software component list<----empty o/p ---------------------------->When checking the following VM-Support logs, entries similar to the following may be logged:C:\<hostname-YYYY-MM-DD--11.00-2247850>\commands\localcli_software-baseimage-get.txtErrors:[Exception] Host does not have a Base Image installed.Please refer to the log file for more detailsC:\<hostname-YYYY-MM-DD--11.00-2247850>\commands\localcli_software-component-get.txt<---Empty--->For more information about this issue, refer to the following VMware Knowledge Base Article:ESXi Host update fails with error "Error writing tar database: Should have base image when an addon exists" when using images generated by AutoDeploy (87751)
