Starting with VMware ESXi version 7.0U1, the value specified in global maxQueueDepth for the Network File System (NFS) datastores is not taken into consideration. Instead, the datastore is configurated with a maxQueueDepth of 4294967295. This very high maxQueueDepth value can potentially cause serious performance issues. This behavior is documented in thisVMware KB article.
NFS Datastores (including SimpliVity datastores) created on VMWare ESXi versions 7.0U1 or 7.0U2.
