On any HPE Single Phase 1Gb UPS Network Management Module (Q1C17A), the following warning message cannot be cleared after a firmware upgrade to version 1.7.11 is performed:
HPEPP/FREEVMHOST message Protection: communication lost with agent
If HPE Power Protector (HPEPP) and the card are communicating when there is a firmware upgrade, an old entry with this warning message in the Agent list will be replaced; but if the HPE Power Protector (HPEPP) and the card are not communicating during the firmware upgrade, then a new entry will appear and the old entry with the warning message will still be displayed. Therefore, when there are 2 entries in the agent list, then the HPEPP/ FreeVMHost error will be displayed.
Scope
Any HPE Single Phase 1Gb UPS Network Management Module (Q1C17A) with firmware version 1.7.11.

The issue has been performed under the following configuration, but it can also affect other similar configurations:
HPE ProLiant ML110 Gen10 server
HPE Single Phase 1Gb UPS Network Management Module (Q1C17A)
Microsoft Windows Server 2019
Software: HPE Power Protector (HPEPP) V2.02.089 build
UPS network module firmware v1.7.11
Resolution
To correct this issue, manually delete the old server entry from the Agent list.
