On any HPE ProLiant server or HPE Synergy Compute Module configured with any of the HPE QLogic NX2 Based Network Adapters listed in the Scope section below, an Uncorrectable Machine Check Exception (UMCE) error similar to the following may be experienced when NPAR is enabled for the network adapters during the server boot: For HPE ProLiant servers 446 PCI Bus Uncorrectable PCI Express Error Detected. This error can be experienced during any early Operating System boot, including booting from the Service Pack for ProLiant (SPP). Also when this issue occurs, the Integrated Management Log (IML) may log the identified slot of the affected network adapter and an "Uncorrectable Error Status: 0x100000" similar to the following: Uncorrectable PCI Express Error Detected.
