The Unit Identification (UID) LED on a ProLiant m750 Server Blade will not function when the server is running the CM2 Version 1.3-b20 firmware. When this occurs, the UID LED cannot be illuminated via the GUI, CLI, or by pressing the physical UID button.
Any HPE ProLiant m750 server blade in a Moonshot chassis with Chassis Manager 2.0 running Firmware Version 1.3-b20.
A future update of CM2 firmware will address this issue. No workaround is possible.
