The HPE IP Console Viewer utilizes a TLS 1.0 protocol to share data about the connected devices by IP address. Due to some security concerns, the TLS 1.0 protocol that allowed IP Console Viewer to function in this manner needed to be disabled in all firmware releases after v1.32.0 and v1.20.0 for the following Switch models: HPE IP Console Viewer v1.32.0 for HPE KVM Server/IP Console Switch models: AF618A, AF619A, AF620A, AF621A, and AF622A. HPE IP Console Viewer v1.20.0 for HPE KVM Server/IP Console Switch models: AF651A, AF652A, and AF653A. Note: Full HPE KVM Server/IP Console Switch model descriptions are available in the Scope section below.

The TLS 1.0 protocol was central to the functionality of HPE IP Console Viewer. The following two options are available to regain HPE IP Console Viewer functionality: Revert/Downgrade the HPE IP Console Firmware Revert/Downgrade to firmware version 1.32.0 (for models AF618A, AF619A, AF620A, AF621A, and AF622A) or 1.20.0 (for models AF651A, AF652A, and AF653A) or an earlier version . Instructions to downgrade or load a previous firmware release: Using the WebUI appliance, click on the Overview. Under the Tools menu, select the "Upgrade Firmware" to install the firmware version needed. Note: Ensure that firmware version 1.32.0 (for models AF618A, AF619A, AF620A, AF621A, and AF622A) or 1.20.0 (for models AF651A, AF652A, and AF653A) or an earlier version is being installed.
