A Latitude 7450 may receive an error that says, "We can’t find your camera". The error message goes on to say, "Check to make sure it’s connected and installed properly, that it isn’t being blocked by antivirus software, and that your camera drivers are up to date. If there’s a physical switch or button for the camera on your PC, make sure it’s turned on. If you need it, here’s the error code: 0xA00F4244<NoCamerasAreAttached>". This issue can be confirmed by checking Device Manager. This is done by clicking the Start menu, searching for Device Manager, and then clicking Device Manager . When checking Device Manager , the System devices category shows two incorrect entries with a yellow bang: Camera Sensor HI556 Camera Sensor OG0VA1B When the camera is working, the yellow bang entries are not seen in Device Manager , instead, the following two entries are seen with no yellow bang: Camera Sensor HM1092 Camera Sensor OV02E10 Affected Platforms: Latitude 7450
Windows Update, if allowed to install and update drivers, may push an incorrect or incomplete driver.
Note: Before starting the update, perform the following: Back up all personal data. For more information, refer to Back Up and Recovery . Connect the AC adapter. Updating the BIOS to version 1.17.1 or later on the computer resolves the issue. To download and install the BIOS, refer to the BIOS Update Guide . Note: Starting with BIOS version 1.17.1, Windows Update KB5074109 may be installed as part of the BIOS update to resolve this issue.
