In Dell Automation Platform 1.x, when viewing NativeEdge offer asset information in the Inventory > Infrastructure > Asset Name > General or alternatively in Inventory > Infrastructure > Asset Name > Hardware , it is possible that the IP address listed may be incorrect.
An environment variable ( ECE_NETWORK_IP ) stores the ECE Management IP on the device. If, for any reason, this variable is not set to a valid IP address, a fallback mechanism retrieves any valid IP from the system at runtime. This may result in the incorrect address appearing.
This issue is scheduled to be resolved in an upcoming release of the Dell Automated Platform NativeEdge offer.
