An error may be reported that says, "The selected firmware is not for this monitor" while updating firmware of a Dell monitor while using macOS Tahoe. There are no issues if the firmware is updated using a Windows operating system or from a macOS version other than Tahoe. Affected Platforms: All Dell monitors Affected Operating Systems: macOS Tahoe
macOS 26 has changed libusb and it is not backwards compatible. For more information, refer to libusb_get_port_numbers returns nothing on some macOS versions #1661 .
To resolve this issue, update to macOS Tahoe 26.2.
