Earbuds not receiving keep alive packets from iPhone 17 causes loss of connection. iPhone 17 is deviating from the handshaking rules during negotiation of connection parameters.
Apple released a test fix in iOS 26.1 Beta 4 on October 20, 2025. This update is available only to users enrolled in the Apple Beta Software Program. Users in the program must wait for Apple to officially release iOS 26.1.
