Windows detects a Dell audio device that is connected using Bluetooth. Simultaneously, DDPM occasionally cannot detect the Dell audio device over Bluetooth. DDPM, if no other devices are connected, displays "No device detected" and "Add your first device". This happens while Bluetooth is enabled. Affected Software: Dell Display and Peripheral Manager Affected Versions: Versions earlier than version 2.2.0 Affected Audio Peripherals: Dell Pro Plus Earbuds EB525 Dell Pro Plus Wireless ANC Headset WL5024 Dell Pro Plus Wireless Speakerphone SL525 Dell Pro Premium Wireless ANC Headset WL7024 Dell Pro Wireless Headset WL3024 Note: This issue may occur with these peripherals but can happen with any other Dell audio peripheral. This includes headsets, speakers, and earbuds. This does not affect non-Dell devices. Affected Operating System: Windows
The Dell audio device is occasionally not enumerated correctly by the Windows operating system. This impacts the software detection of the Dell audio device.
Note: Before starting the update, perform the following: Back up all personal data. For more information, refer to Back Up and Recovery . Connect the AC adapter if updates are being run on a laptop. Ensure that power remains connected if updates are being run on a desktop. Updating Dell Display and Peripheral Manager to version 2.2 or later on the computer resolves the issue.
