When performing SourceOne Search for owner not all expected messages are returned. Inspecting the message metadata in SQL shows the owners of concern have a RouteMask of 0 which does not provide ownership of the message.
SourceOne uses the RouteMask to assign specific privileges to message routes which allow access in specific scenarios. A RouteMask of 0 means that no privilege has been assigned to the route and could mean that a few different issues have occurred OR that the routes were only processed during historical archiving and were not granted any privilege because they did not require one assigned based on how and where the message was processed. Two known issues that caused this problem historically are KB 000154548 and a Transvault Migration issue, both of which would fail to set the expected RouteMask and leaving the value as 0.
Contact Dell SourceOne support to discuss options on resolving this issue and to confirm if there is in fact a problem. If required the RouteMask can be updated (either via utility see KB 000154548) or manually to grant routes message ownership.
