- Stale entries on the WLC are shown as Associated while they're deleted from the APs. Only session timeout triggers the deletion. Idle doesn't take effect. - This can be checked with "show client summary" on the WLC - On the AP, the entries are deleted from the DB even before idle timeout. This can be checked on the AP that the client last got associated with using the commands: show datapath command /click/client_ip_table/list show controllers dot11Radio 1 client all detail show controllers dot11Radio 0 client all detail - Need the WLC to be able to detect and delete stale entries without relying on the DELETE payload sent by the APs.
