We have identified an issue introduces in Zurich Patch9 and Australia Patch 2. Where users with multiple PAE dashboards sharing identically named tabs may experience unexpected loss of tab name translations after renaming a tab on any one of those dashboards. This affects multilingual environments where sys_translated records are used for PAE dashboard tab names.
STR: In English, 1. Create a sys_translated record as follows. Label: あいう Table: par_dashboard_tab Element: name Language: ja Value: TabName Created after Step2 2. Create a PAE Dashboard 3. Add a tab named same as sys_translated Value 4. Save the dashboard 5. Create another dashboard 6. Add a tab named same as sys_translated Value 7. Save the dashboard. Switch the language to Japanese. 8. Go back to one of the dashboards. 9 Rename the tab あいう to さしす 10. Check the other dashboard tab, the translation is lost as the sys_translated record is overwritten.
Ensure all PAE dashboard tabs that require translations use unique names across all dashboards. Remove the duplicate translation entry that causes the English and non-English tab names to appear identical by deleting the offending row from the translation table. If a tab has already lost its translation, manually recreate the sys_translated record for the affected tab name / language combination. To fix permanently the issue, upgrade your instance to Zurich Patch 9 Hot Fix 1, Australia Patch 2 Hot Fix 1 or above.
