While applying a Server Profile on an HPE ProLiant Compute XD685 server, the following alert message may appear:"Unable to apply one or more BIOS/UEFI settings for the server"This issue typically occurs when the profile apply involves a firmware update or local storage configuration that affects the server power-cycles. Longer power cycles on a server will cause an HPE OneView session on the HPE Integrated Lights-Out 6 (iLO 6) to time out. This timeout will cause the serve profile BIOS settings to display the above error.
HPE OneView versions 10.0 or later when managing an HPE ProLiant Compute XD685 server.
To correct this issue, re-apply the server profile. Re-applying the server profile will only re-apply the BIOS settings and not all the configurations specified in the profile.This issue will be resolved in a future release of HPE OneView. This advisory will be updated when more information is available.
