On an HPE ProLiant Compute XD685 system attempting to load the Inventory page, the Redfish response may be very slow and in some cases, there may be an Integrated Lights-Out (iLO) web interface login issue, so the iLO Inventory Page loading may be delayed. This occurs with a system that is fully populated of options which is a typical configuration for an XD685 serverWhen obtaining information for the Inventory Page, there is a large amount of information to be displayed. As a result, it takes iLO time to obtain this information and this is expected behavior.
Any HPE ProLiant Compute XD685 with iLO firmware v1.7.
When obtaining information for the Inventory Page, there is a lot of information. It takes iLO time to obtain this information and this is expected behavior. The HPE ProLiant Compute XD685 displays additional inventory as compared to other HPE ProLiant systems. Additionally, the GPU inventory is an external call to the HMC/SMC redfish data which adds to the overall delay. This is by design and will continue to be for the HPE ProLiant Compute XD685.As a workaround, reset iLO or typically wait for iLO to self-correct.
