When modifying the "Drive Write Cache Policy" on HPE Gen11 and Gen10 Plus Controllers via the Redfish volume properties page, the updated status is not accurately reflected in the MegaRAID Storage Administrator (MRSA) drive properties. Specifically, the drive properties in MRSA continue to display the previous value.Steps to reproduce this issue:Open the MRSA website user interface and select the volume.ClickModifyto change the properties, set "Drive Write Cache Policy" to Enabled, and save the settings.NOTE: Changing the configuration from "disabled" to "enabled" or from "enabled" to "disabled" can reproduce the issue.Verify the status using the following methods:-Check the Redfish entries at 'https://{IP}/redfish/v1/Chassis/{ID}/Drives/{ID}/', where the "WriteCacheEnabled" property should be true.-In the Volume properties page, the "Drive Write Cache Policy" should be shown as Enabled.-In the Drive properties page, the current write cache status remains Disabled, which does not reflect the change.
