In rare instances, the communication between the HPE UPS Management Module (HPMM) and HPE Power Protector (HPEPP) for certain HPE Single Phase 1Gb UPS Network Management Module units may be lost when performing certain actions such as restarting the Uninterruptible Power System (UPS).The alert logged will be similar to the following example:
Any HPE Single Phase 1Gb UPS Network Management Module (Q1C17A).
Re-pairing the Agent with reinstalling the HPE Power Protector (HPEPP) could resolve the problem; but HPE recommends updating the HPE Single Phase 1Gb UPS with Network Management Module to firmware version 3.1.21 (or later) available at the following URL:HPE Single Phase 1Gb UPS with Network Management Module (Q1C17A) Firmware Version 3.1.21 (or later)Important:Make sure to install the latest version of HPE Power Protector (HPEPP).If the issue is still experienced after performing the firmware update above contact HPE Support with case elevation shall issue still after the Firmware upgrade.
