While performing an HPE Integrated Lights-Out 5 (iLO 5) stress test with host reboot; after few hours, an unexpected disconnection of iLO is encountered for 5 minutes. iLO in this failed state will not be accessible for 5 minutes, but iLO will be reset by the watchdog service and recovers automatically. When this occurs, a Red Screen (RSOD) is seen.
Synergy 480 Gen10 Plus server.
When the RSOD occurs, set System Configuration > BIOS/Platform Configuration(RBSU) > System Options > Server Availability > IPMI Watchdog Timer to enable to auto-recover the system from the RSOD.
