On an HPE ProLiant ML110 Gen11 system, when the time zone is manually changed via System Configuration (RBSU), the setting reverts to the previous value after a system reboot. Systems experiencing this issue will also display the following error when attempting to save changes after selecting certain time zones:"Submit Fail For Form: BIOS/Platform Configuration (RBSU)"
The symptom was first observed on the ProLiant ML110 Gen11. Since all Gen11 and Gen12 platforms use the same calculation, it is possible this will occur on these platforms as well.
When this issue occurs, load the manufacturer defaults to temporarily bypass the problem.This issue will be corrected in a future version of the System ROM, which will optimize time settings. This advisory will be updated when additional information becomes available.
