Description

Summary

HPE Integrated Lights-Out 5 (iLO 5) is designed to automatically re-establish connection to HPE Compute Ops Management (COM) following disconnection. However, in certain scenarios involving repeated disconnection and reconnection attempts, HPE ProLiant Gen10 servers with iLO 5 may not initiate the COM connection again.

Scope

Any HPE ProLiant Gen10 server with iLO 5.

Resolution

As a workaround, reset iLO 5. During a reset, iLO 5 automatically establishes a connection to HPE Compute Ops Management.The is targeted to be resolved in a future version of the iLO 5 firmware.This advisory will be updated when additional information becomes available.
