For any HPE SimpliVity Gen11 nodes, in rare instances, the HPE SR932i‑p Gen11 storage controller firmware update may fail due to a timing issue when using SVTSPGen11-2025_0630. All other hardware components will not be affected by this issue.SVTSPGen11-2025_0630 includes SR932i‑p Gen11 firmware version 03.01.33.044.When this issue occurs, the HPE SimpliVity Software Upgrade Manager will change the Firmware upgrade status from "Failed" to "Ready for Upgrade". The "Ready for Upgrade" status is an indication that the firmware update failed for the SR932i‑p Gen11 storage controller.To determine the currently installed firmware version of the SR932i‑p Gen11 storage controller, perform the following steps:Log into the HPE Integrated Lights-Out (iLO) web console.Go to System Information.Select Device Inventory.
In the scenario described above, the following SimpliVity nodes configured with an SR932i‑p Gen11 storage controller (P47184-B21) and using SVTSPGen11-2025_0630:HPE SimpliVity 325 Gen11 NodeHPE SimpliVity 380 Gen11 Node
