An Offline deployment via Smart Update Manager (SUM) 12.0.0 using HPE Synergy Service Pack version SY-2025.05.01 displays the deployment status as passed; however, the firmware update may not be successful when running the following:Ilorest flashfwpkg {comp_name} –forceupload -u {user} -p {p} –encHPE Integrated Lights-Out (iLO) displays the UpdateService status as "complete" even though the flashing is not successful.
Any HPE Synergy compute module using HPE Synergy Service Pack version SY-2025.05.01 when performing a SUM offline deployment via SUM 12.0.0.
As a workaround, perform either of the following:Re-run the SUM 12.0.0 offline deploymentorPerform an online updateThis is targeted to be resolved in a future version of the HPE Synergy Service Pack. This advisory will be updated when additional information is available.
