For any Synergy compute modules configured with a 6310C Ethernet Adapter, if network connections are defined in a Server Profile, power off the compute module prior to performing a firmware update on the 6310C Ethernet Adapter using the Server Profile. The above step is required even if no configuration changes have been made on the 6310C Ethernet Adapter.IMPORTANT:If using HPE OneView for VMware vCenter to perform the firmware update: Upon successful completion of the Server Profile update, power on the compute module. Wait until the compute module reconnects to VMware vCenter, and perform a compliance check to verify the firmware update status.Revision HistoryDocument VersionRelease DateDetails2July 28, 2025The Advisory has been updated with additional information.1June 25, 2025Original Document Release.
