In HPE OneView, modifying network connections within a server profile (e.g., removing and re-adding connections) may occasionally cause the profile update to fail and the following error message to appear:"Unable to apply a profile to the server hardware."This issue will only occur with HPE Synergy 480 Gen12 Compute Modules installed with an HPE Synergy 6820C 25/50Gb Converged Network Adapter on HPE Synergy Service Pack (SSP) version SY-2025.05.01.
Any HPE Synergy 480 Gen12 Compute Module with HPE Synergy 6820C 25/50Gb Converged Network Adapter on HPE Synergy Service Pack (SSP) version SY-2025.05.01 and managed by HPE OneView versions 9.30, 9.40 or 10.0.
If this issue occurs, re-apply the server profile to resolve the issue.This will be addressed in a future release of HPE OneView. This advisory will be updated when additional information becomes available.
