HPE OneView or HPE Smart Update Manager (SUM) may not successfully update the firmware for any HPE InfiniBand NDR200/Ethernet 200GbE 2-port QSFP112 PCIe5 x16 MCX755106AC-HEAT Adapter (P65333-H21) when using the Gen11 or Gen12 Service Pack for ProLiant (SPP) 2025.03.00 (or earlier) due to incorrect information in the network adapter fwpkg component.In OneView, the update action appears to complete without error, though the firmware update is not attempted for the network adapter, and the following alert is displayed in OneView after the update action is finished:Issue The following firmware components are inconsistent with the specified firmware baseline: ConnectX-7 200GE 2P NIC, ConnectX-7 200GE 2P NICResolution Power cycle the server and wait for the power on self test (POST) to complete. If the problem persists, re-apply the server profile to update the firmware again.When using Smart Update Manager (SUM) to perform the update, the network adapter will not be listed as an available component to update and in turn no update for that network adapter will be attempted.
Any HPE platform configured with an HPE InfiniBand NDR200/Ethernet 200GbE 2-port QSFP112 PCIe5 x16 MCX755106AC-HEAT Adapter (P65333-H21).
