On an HPE Gen11 system with HPE Integrated Lights-Out 6 (iLO 6) firmware v1.67 (or earlier), while performing an offline or online firmware update using Service Pack for ProLiant (SPP), upgrading from Gen11 SPP 2024.09.01.00 to Gen11 SPP 2025.01.00.00, the server reboot stops responding with the message "Halted system due to SPDM (Security Protocol and Data Model) component authentication failure." See the IML and Security Log for details and iLO 6 stops responding.
Any HPE Gen11 system with iLO 6 firmware v1.67 (or earlier).
