This has been fixed with System ROM version 3.34 (or later), which will auto disable the PCIe Slot that has the faulty device.NOTE: Since the System ROM auto-disables the PCIe Slot which contains the faulty PCIe Card, this PCIe Slot must be re-enabled if any other PCIe Card is ever plugged into it. If the Slot is not re-enabled, any card that is plugged into this PCIe Slot will not be recognized by the system. When this issue occurs and the PCIe card is replaced, make sure to enable the PCIe Device through RBSU if the System ROM has been updated to version 3.34 or later:1. From the System Utilities screen, select System Configuration > BIOS/Platform Configuration (RBSU) > PCIe Device Configuration.2. Select a device from the list.3. Select settings. Depending on the device, options include:Auto — The device is automatically enabled at server boot.Disabled — The device is not automatically enabled. To download the System ROM, perform the following steps:Click the following link:Hewlett Packard Enterprise Support CenterEnter a product name (e.g.,ProLiant DL360 Gen10 " in the text search field and wait for a list of Suggested Products to display.
