HPE Integrated Lights-Out 5 (iLO 5) firmware v3.06 (or later) and iLO 6 firmware v1.61 (or later) have a change in MIB definition for fan speed.Newer iLO firmware versions will respond to SNMP calls in percentage values of max speed, while older firmware iLO versions respond in levels 1,2, and 3, which resolved to other, normal or high respectively.The MIB OID "cpqHeFltTolFanSpeed" in the Integrated Lights-Out Management-MIB update kit for HPE Systems for Linux version 2.4.0.0 (or earlier) that functions with iLO 5 firmware v3.05 (or earlier) / iLO 6 firmware 1.60 (or earlier) has the following definition:Mib OID : 1.3.6.1.4.1.232.6.2.6.7.1.6 // cpqHeFltTolFanSpeedMIB Definition: cpqHeFltTolFanSpeed OBJECT-TYPE SYNTAX INTEGER { other(1), normal(2), high(3) } ACCESS read-only STATUS mandatory DESCRIPTION "This specifies the speed of the fan.
