On any HPE ProLiant Gen10 Plus server or HPE Synergy Gen10 Plus Compute Module with a Trusted Platform Module (TPM) installed and with secure boot enabled, and an incorrect system date in the BIOS/Platform Configuration (RBSU); a Purple Diagnostic Screen (PSOD) may be experienced during the installation of any version of VMware ESXi operating system. To resolve the issue, perform the following steps to update the date and time in the BIOS/Platform Configuration (RBSU):Power up the system (HPE ProLiant Gen10 Plus server or HPE Synergy Gen10 Plus Compute Module).During Power-On Self-Test (POST), press F9 to access System Utilities.On the System Utilities home screen, select "System Configuration -> BIOS/Platform Configuration (RBSU) -> Date and Time".Set the current (present) Date and Time similar to the example shown below:Note:The date and time below are just part of the example.
