For any HPE ProLiant, HPE Synergy, or HPE Alletra Storage Server Gen11, the HPE Intelligent Provisioning tab may be missing from the Lifecycle Management menu option in the iLO 6 web interface. As a result, the Intelligent Provisioning Always On feature cannot be used.This issue will occur when iLO 6 is running firmware version 1.62 (or later), and either of the following:Systems shipped since November 2024.ORThe iLO NAND has been formatted.In both scenarios, the recovery ISO or the smart component RPM can be used to successfully reimage Intelligent Provisioning; however, will not restore the Always On feature.When properly functioning, the Intelligent Provisioning tab will be available in the Lifecycle Management menu, as shown below.When this issue occurs, even after performing a reimage, the Intelligent Provisioning tab will be missing, as shown below.Regardless of this issue, booting the system into Intelligent Provisioning will function as expected.
In the scenario described above, any HPE ProLiant Gen11, HPE Synergy Gen11, or HPE Alletra Storage Server Gen11 running the following:iLO 6 firmware version 1.62 (or later).Intelligent Provisioning recovery ISO (or smart component RPM) version 4.35 (or earlier).
