After inserting new disks in the HPE Alletra Storage MP B10000 array and running thetunesysCLI command, chunklets may be unevenly distributed across disks causing them to be underutilized.When running thetunesysCLI command, the system logical drives may be imbalanced and will be excluded from the tuning list. Depending on the capacity of the system, themgmtdatavolume may not be distributed evenly across all of the disks. This may result in a chunklet utilization imbalance. Therefore, themgmtdatavolume or the underlying logical disks need to be tuned manually to rebalance the chunklets.
This issue applies for HPE Alletra MP B10000 arrays.
This issue will be resolved in a future version of HPE Alletra Storage MP B10000. This Advisory will be updated when a solution is available.Until a fix is released, contact your local country HPE support or log a case via theHPE Support Centerto assist you with resolving this issue.
