Any ProLiant Compute DL384 Gen12 server with insufficient power redundancy, including single superchip systems with only 1x2200W power supply (PSU) or dual superchip systems with only 2x2200W power supplies, may experience system shutdown caused by some application workloads.

Starting withSystem ROM version 1.14, the system will automatically adjust the Power Supply redundancy settings based on the number of installed PSUs and Superchip (single or dual).Minimum RequirementsFor Single Superchip (1P) configurations: minimum 2xPSUs, maximum of 4xPSUs, and support 2+1/2+2 PSUs redundancy.For Dual Superchip (2P) configurations: minimum 4xPSUs and support 3+1 PSUs redundancy.
