On any HPE ProLiant Gen11 iLO 6-based systems, the iLO CHIF and ASR drivers are displayed as iLO 5 in the Windows Operating system and iLO remote GUI, as shown in the following image:This occurs because the drivers CHIF and ASR for the Windows Operating system are compatible with both iLO 5 and iLO 6, as they share the same CHIF and ASR driver. This is a driver naming issue only.
Any ProLiant Gen11 iLO 6-based system running Microsoft Windows Server 2019, 2022 or 2025 Operating System.
This is a display issue only.To resolve this for Windows Server 2025, upgrade to driver version 4.7.2.0 released in the SPP September 2024.
