For any HPE ProLiant Compute DL384 Gen12 configured with the network adapters listed in the Scope section below, immediately after performing a "reset -w" from the UEFI shell or a reboot from the Operating System (OS), the network adapters may disappear from the RBSU. As a result, the OS will not detect the affected network adapters.
In the scenario described above, any HPE ProLiant Compute DL384 Gen12 configured with any of the following network adapters running firmware version 28.40.1000 (or later):HPE InfiniBand NDR/Ethernet 400Gb 1-port OSFP PCIe5 x16 MCX75310AAS-NEAT Adapter (P45641-B23)HPE InfiniBand NDR200/Ethernet 200Gb 1-port OSFP PCIe5 x16 MCX75310AAS-HEAT Adapter (P45642-B22)HPE InfiniBand NDR200/Ethernet 200GbE 2-port QSFP112 PCIe5 x16 MCX755106AC-HEAT Adapter (P65333-B21)HPE InfiniBand NDR/NDR200 network adapters running firmware version 28.39.2048 (or earlier) are Not affected by the issue described above.IMPORTANT:HPE InfiniBand NDR/NDR200 network adapters running firmware versions prior to 28.40.1000 are affected by the below security vulnerability.NVIDIA ConnectX and BlueField - October 2024Disclaimer:One or more of the above links redirects outside the HPE website.
