As per the HPE Integrated Lights-Out User Guide section "iLO default DNS name and user account," "The iLO firmware is configured with a default username, password, and DNS name.The default information is on the serial label pull-tab attached to the server that contains the iLO 5 management processor. Use these values to access iLO 5 remotely from a network client by using a web browser:Username — AdministratorPassword — A random eight-character string or a common default password.The password type is defined at the factory, depending on the SKU numbers included in the server order." In some instances, the iLO 5 user interface may not be accessible using the default serial tag or toe tag credentials for new servers, out of the factory.
