HPE Cray XD670 fails during POST after applying BIOS parameter "Power Policy Quick Settings = Best Performance” and reboot. During POST you may see the following message: The issue is caused by the following: Changing the "GBT0133: Power Policy Quick Setting" in the BIOS to "Best Performance."

To resolve this issue perform the following steps: (1) Power down the HPE Cray XD670 system. (2) Flash system BIOS without preserving the BIOS parameter. (3) Power on. (4) After XD670 server boots, apply the custom BIOS parameters. However, do not control the “GBT0133: Power Policy Quick Settings”.
